As a Project Manager / Product Owner at ULAM LABS, you will ensure successful project delivery by coordinating and managing the full project lifecycle using Scrum methodology. You will be the main client contact, manage JIRA backlogs, and oversee documentation, while also leading architecture workshops.

Onboarding first day

We are excited to spend your first day and week with you in our office. You will get to know your dedicated Buddy and the whole team, meet Head of Delivery, and receive a welcome pack with all equipment you need for work. You will also complete the formalities of the contract, and have training on tools and health&safety. We will also tell you more about the company and our corporate culture. Time for a break and having coffee/tea and lunch on the house with your team. After the first week, you will already know your team and supervisor, be introduced to the project, and learn your first duties in the new position. You will become familiar with the intranet and documentation of the projects you will be working on. You will finish the week with a feedback meeting hosted by the People & Culture Manager.

Onboarding one month

You will know all your responsibilities, and actively participate in team meetings. You will have cyclical 1:1 meetings with the People & Culture Manager. You will get deeper into the project. Team integration is also waiting for you. We want you to work independently and be able to plan your work for the week in advance. 

Onboarding three months

After two months of successful cooperation, you will talk to People & Culture Manager about how you are working with us. We look forward to your feedback. After the whole onboarding, you will already be fully implemented in the projects and your responsibilities, and you will master all the names of our employees! :)

  1. CV review

    Your application will be carefully reviewed to know if you meet the basic requirements.

  2. Phone interview

    During the 30 min call, we will get to know each other better. Also by talking in English.

  3. HR and project-tech meetings

    This step is divided into two parts. The online HR interview includes a company presentation and an in-depth interview with soft questions. During the technical on-site part, you can showcase all your talents by answering technical questions asked by your future supervisor. Here, you can also talk about the details of the role.

  4. Offering with feedback

    You can expect feedback from us. Once we are sure that you are a perfect fit for the role, we will prepare an offer for you.

Your daily missions

  • Acting as a first point of contact for the client
  • Coordinating and running the full project lifecycle in Scrum methodology

  • Ensuring that projects are delivered on time

  • Managing JIRA backlog, creating user stories, and maintaining clear and up-to-date documentation

  • Mentoring other team members in fields of efficient communication and project management processes

  • Motivating, supporting, and guiding the project team

  • Ensuring that the product meets business assumptions and delivers real value to users

  • Translating business needs into actionable development plans and priorities

  • Taking part in defining product vision, goals, and success metrics together with stakeholders

Your profile

  • 2-4 years’ experience in managing software development projects
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Polish (minimum C1)
  • Understanding Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Proven track record in defining and prioritizing product backlog item
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with the client and the team
  • Ability to manage clients’ ideas in balance with what is achievable
  • Ability to coordinate the work of Software Engineers and QA Specialists
  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to grow into a people management role in the future
